Board members

Phil Downs

PJ Downs & Associates Ltd, Member of the British Empire (MBE). Disability Liaison Officer at Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester United Football Club from 1991-2016. Phil has also been instrumental in developing and producing, among others, the, Accessible Stadia Guide. Phil was also a founder member and Chair of the English Association of Fans with Disabilities (NADS, currently Level Playing Field), where he was pivotal in ensuring that the facilities at the new Wembley Stadium were accessible. Phil’s experience extended through the lower leagues to clubs such as Shrewsbury Town. Phil has also had significant experience working with UEFA in Champions League matches, such as the finals held in Barcelona 1999, Rome 2008, Moscow 2009 and London 2010 and UEFA rule changes affecting supporters with disabilities attending major finals.

Kim Krämer

Disability Liaison Officer (Behindertanfanbeuaftragter) the Allianz Arena Stadium, FC Bayern Munich, Germany. Responsible for Bayern Munich disabled fan organisation Rollwagerl 93 e.V. He has extensive experience in managing accessibility in Bundesliga stadiums. He has also collaborated with organizations such as UEFA in Champions League matches, in the Champions League final held at the Allianz Arena stadium on May 19, 2012 and in the matches planned for the 2020 Euro Cup.

Jon Nield

Jon y Alex Nield

Manchester United fan with a disability and also has a son with a disability. Jon and his son Alex are amongst the most passionate fans and travel to almost every game at Old Trafford and away stadiums, they also attend away matches in Europe. They also enjoy watching both the Man Utd Women and youth teams play. Jon’s son Alex has Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair, Jon himself was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014. Despite the obvious challenges they have a wealth of experience about attending stadiums around the world, recording their experiences of every trip in awesome vídeos.

Juan Luis Paramio Salcines

Senior Lecturer in Sports Management at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Spain. Responsible for Projects of Analysis of Universal Accessibility to Stadiums in Spain and with experience in comparative studies of Universal Accessibility to stadiums in the main European Leagues and in sports leisure centers on an international scale.

Jaime Prieto

Lecturer at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid, Spain. Doctorate in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, Computer Engineer, Masters in Integrated Quality Management, R&D and Technological Innovation.

José Gigante

[Jose Gigante] Sports Innovation Manager, Sports and Diplomacy Researcher, has extensive experience in consulting, co-ordinating Sporting events at London’s Wembley National Stadium and planning events for the International Paralympic Committee.

Francisco Ruiz Díaz

Architect holding a higher education program in Universal Accessibility and Design for All (La Salle 2010) and Master in Accessibility for the Smart City, the Global City (Jaén, 2020). He is a member of the Universal Accessibility Working Group of the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), and of the Spanish Association of Professionals of Universal Accessibility (ASEPAU). Extensive experience in writing analysis, studies and adaptating projects to Universal Accessibility in all types of buildings and historical heritage.

Rosana Urrutia González

Rosana Urrituia González

Journalist with a degree in Universal Accessibility Higher Education and with extensive knowledge in the field of disability and the related movement. She is also the Academic Coordinator in Universal Accessibility CSEU La Salle, Madrid.

Gustavo Muñoz Pereda

Gustavo Muñoz Pereda

Architect of the Spanish Sports Council. He has extensive experience in the design and construction of sports facilities, with a particular interest in their Universal Accessibility in sports facilities. Among other publications, he is co-author of the first Manual de Accesibilidad Universal en Instalaciones Deportivas, (Handbook of Universal Accessibility at Sports Facilities), (2016), edited by the Spanish Paralympic Committee.

Víctor Ocando

Founder and CEO of Adapt The Game. Sports Lawyer with over six years of experience in National and International Sports Law specialized in Football with focus on Major League Soccer, Contractual, labor Law and Disciplinary issues related to players, clubs, coaches and intermediaries. Frequent lecturer in Congresses, Conferences and Seminars about Sports Management and Sports Law. Motivational speaker for sports and inclusion organizations. Adaptive athlete and adaptive sports advocate. Committed to transformed the football industry through inclusion.
